Review on 💻 USB-C3.1 Gen1 to USB-A Adapter by Amazon Basics - Black (USB-IF Certified) - Data Transfer up to 5Gbps by Dave Howard

This is actually a set of two cables and works very well as a replacement for the Apple USB-C to USB-A cable. Apple cables are made in China and I haven't seen a significant improvement for their $20 cable price. These cables cost around $4 each and are made in Vietnam. I tried charging and they work for slow charging. I've also tested file transfers with the fastest storage devices I've owned and I was able to achieve transfer speeds of around 300MB/s, which is good enough for my purposes. They are worth their price and IF certified. Even $10 anchor cables made in China are not IF certified but cost twice as much!
