I wanted mine to help me climb into my loft bed. For this job I removed my legs so it's lower and more secure. But if you want it to be a regular little stool, screw the legs in and you're done. I love how the legs can be stored in the bottom of the stool. So if I want to use it differently, I can always add those legs because they're right there. I don't have to think about where to put them! And the price is very low for an excellent nice little stool.
