I recently bought this and have only had it for a few days. I already have a nice desktop workstation that I bought in 2018 for CG and animation work. I play a little, but that's not exactly my reason for buying it. I needed a laptop with similar performance so I could travel and work from home. I needed the largest screen available, a 17.3, as well as a good amount of RAM with a good graphics card. Ultimately I chose this Sager for its good price and as a solid kit it seems to tick the box. 17-inch screen, 32g RAM, RTX 2060 6bm graphics card, and I got the 2-1TB SSD card option for a little more money. I paid extra for faster shipping and received it within 3 days. It feels like a solid laptop and is of good quality. The keyboard feels premium and the keys have good feedback and solid feel. I use a USB wireless mouse so I can't say much about the laptop mouse pad's function, but it seems to be very good and I like the feel of the left and right function keys of the laptop mouse pad. After the usual Windows 10 boot steps, everything worked. It took me a while to load with all my work programs but it seems really fast and on par with the speed of my desktop workstation. Now I can work on some CG projects from home and travel when needed. I also bought a laptop cooling pad with fans. I tried the PC game The Witcher 3 with full graphics and the laptop is definitely spinning up the fans and getting hot. A cooling pad is an extra layer of safety to keep you cool, but it may not be essential. If you play a lot of games, buy a cooling pad. In my work, fans don't step out into the open except when I need to play big scenes in real time. Overall I'm happy with my purchase so far and the speed and quality seem good. Reliability remains to be seen with more time below the belt, but we're hoping for the best.
