I prefer black to white for kitchen cabinet lighting. I cut it into lots of pieces to outline the sides and front of the cabinets. Suggest to cut and process the bulk first in case the soldering doesn't go well. And don't cut all the pieces first. Only work on one piece at a time. I also decided against the kit for several reasons: 1) The capacity of the power supplies is too small. You will need a 6 amp PS for this strip. 2) I also wanted an RF controller, not an IR controller. 3) I wanted a black stripe.
