Review on 14 lb Arm & Hammer Slide Clumping Cat Litter for Multi Cat Households by Patricia Williams

Revainrating 5 out of 5

So glad it exists

I just moved up the hill from an odorless bed of clay. I was hoping they would dress odorless, but they don't. (Oddly, I'm more sensitive to smells - my cat uses highly scented litter with no problem.) Now I've tried both Multicat and Odor Control (green box). I wish I could give 4 1/2 stars instead of 4 or 5 just because it's not perfect: it runs a bit. It's MUCH easier to clean the floor than clay residue that gets stuck in cracks and sticks more. Also, it is MUCH NICE to clean the box. Not sticky at all and clumps well. As for smell, both are pretty tolerable. I think the green box smells more lemony, reminiscent of cleaning products, while the purple box is more floral but also less scented. I stayed with the purple Multicat and barely noticed the smell while with the green box I could smell it every time I entered the room. They both control smells very well - my cat lives in my bedroom with the door normally closed, so that was a big deal for me. My room doesn't smell like cat litter/urine/poop (unless I'm totally blind, in which case I'm probably the crazy lady who smells like cat litter all the time, but I don't think I am). Conclusion: Highly recommended, smell/odor control is good, easy to clean but not immediately traceable.
