Review on Timex T2H331 Indiglo Leather Silver Tone by Angela Tarpley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

PERFECT watch for a medium wrist (measure if you have a wider wrist)

Have worn and loved this model for many years. It's lightweight, doesn't get in the way, and tells the time perfectly. When the bracelet finally started to wear out and at the same time the battery finally died, I decided to use a Revain gift card to get a new one for free (if I didn't have a gift card I would definitely change the strap and battery) . on the old one because I love that watch so much). I've worn it to gardening, playing sports, all sorts of DIY projects and it's withstood all sorts of bumps. They've been hit by water from a garden hose many times, and once they accidentally fell into a goldfish pond for 30 minutes, living up to the Timex motto of "keeps ticking." My new watch is identical to my old one in every respect, for for once the company seems to have kept up a good deal. So far it's keeping the perfect time (6 weeks) and on closer inspection I can't find any evidence of a cheaper/production replacement compared to my old one. This is a beautiful classic design, the size and shape of the dial is perfect for my taste. , not too big and not too small, and the font of the numbers is very appealing, so I don't feel like the kind of "old lady" who wants an "easy reader" watch. Some commenters write that the strap on the current watch is shorter than the old versions, I'm attaching photos of my old (10+ years old) and new, I'm exactly the same length. Some commenters write that the watch strap is a bit short, tapering with a flat strap + watch + clasp = 8 inches. Attaches with the second hole from the end, Band + Watch Circumference = 7.5 inches. So if your wrist is bigger/thicker, I recommend measuring your wrist and current watch before ordering. I have a 6" wrist and a buckle on the 3rd or 4th hole depending on what I'm doing. Some commenters write that the strap is too stiff - if you've had this watch before, the new one feels the same as the old one. did when you started. It's a bit stiff at first (hey, for the price I don't expect leather gloves!) but after a month it's getting a lot more flexible every day, just like the old one, just needs a break-in period. . Working on the bracelet with your fingers a little each day before putting it on and after taking it off will speed up the process, and rubbing in a drop or three of Lexol will speed it up as well. Again, I'm happy for the price! Overall I am very happy that this is the same beautiful and practical watch that I have loved for years. Thank you Timex!
