I've been on an endless search for BPA-free amber plastic shower bottles because my husband refuses to lead a dangerous lifestyle and use glass bottles – you know. So I bought these bottles, which are described as "brown amber". According to my google sources, amber is defined as "variable color mean deep orange-yellow", "brownish translucent" and "honey yellow" which I call amber. These bottles are red right now. Not amber, not brownish, not honey yellow, but red. I've included a comparison with another plastic bottle that matches my description of amber (Ber's bottle on the left). If you want translucent red bottles then these are for you, but if you want real amber keep looking and let me know if you find them.
