Well I only bought them for one thing, my Nintendo 3DS. Anyone who's used the 3DS knows there's a circular watch face that doubles as an analog joystick. Unfortunately, Nintendo didn't design it with sweaty thumbs. I never had a big problem with it until I bought Samus Returns, a game that requires 360-degree aiming and shooting with an analog pad. A real action game and after half an hour or so my thumb is sweating a little causing it to slide too much all over the pad causing poor aiming and death of my character in some cases. Since this pad is made out of some sort of rubber/plastic (I'm not sure of the exact material) I figured a rubber glove or some sort of rubber on my thumb would create enough friction to prevent this. I can say that they work well for my case. Not quite perfect, but definitely an improvement. It's not the product's fault I don't use them 100% but for what it is they are great. So I think I might have a better chance in more stressful situations on my 3DS.
