This was bought for a gender reveal party for my daughter. She saw a cute idea with a cotton candy display on Pinterest. We've slightly modified these cones, and it's gotten even better! I used some wine crates and cut the styrofoam to fit in as a lid. My drawers had slots at each end. The foam fit perfectly so I cut two lengthwise strips of foam as support to hold each top. I sprayed and poke random holes in the top with a screwdriver (to keep the cones upright). I then added shredded crepe paper which you would use in an Easter basket. The cones are slightly smaller than the traditional white ones I've used in the past. PS: It's a BOY!
