Short entertainment with some big design flaws

PROS:- It's a value pack: you buy 4 and count on 1 or 2 breaking but at least you've got extras.- Consistently perform loops- They can be somewhat durable if you're not smacking them into pavement or picking them up haphazardly. It's still foam and foam eventually flakes, snaps, and isnt pliable.CONS:- The design is really only setup to perform loops. Look at my pics: the main wings curve up towards the end and have a somewhat aggressive look that's perfect for loops. This plane just won't fly long and straight at all! If the wings were flat, you could still achieve a looping posture by switching the angle of the tail wing. Doesn't matter how you set the tail wing. It always favors a loop. Also, there's hardly any weight on the nose, so the hefty front wings really dictate the trajectory in the air. 2 major errors by the manufacturer here- One of the planes had the entire tail snap off an hour into use. I get it, they're foam but regardless that isn't durable.Because of those reasons, these planes are hot garbage. We had some that were a longer profile and less weight favoring the primary wings that flew probably 30 yards down the street. With those you could also throw them on an apex and they'd curve slowly to the side. I was hoping for the same w this set and they just don't work.Spend elsewhere.

Pros
  • Pretty heavy duty glider for the money. Kids had a lot of fun with it.
Cons
  • The interaction with the airplanes may be limited and may not provide long-term engagement for children
