The best thing is that it's free for open source projects, so there are no barriers to entry (you can't even have an account). It does not integrate with other apps like JIRA or Confluence easily - you need third-party plugins in order do this but they don;t seem very active anymore! If your project has some kind of CI/CD system then git colleciton will work well as part if such setup because all commits go through one place which makes life easier when trying figure out what went wrong during deployment etc..
