This item DOES NOT WORK for HP 1300N

Instructions mention chip reset etc. If it was really compatible it wouldn't be necessary. However, I followed them just to see what would happen and the printer rejected the cartridge. I didn't even have to take the time to wrap it up and return it, so I threw it in the trash where it belongs.
