Update 11/14/20 I washed and replaced the original defective. The original set (cover and pillowcase) dissolved even more and produced so much fluff it overflowed my dryer! The replacement cover is super easy to wash, doesn't pill, no thread breakage or fraying. However, the fit is a bit off and my duvet slides inwards. Yes, I used ties. Big disappointment mostly and also the fact that after some fiddling I have received a replacement duvet cover which was only roughly stuffed into such a small envelope with no further packaging or protection that it burst in the post and the actual cover was opened up . Not being able to wash it in hot water, this was a problem since it was mailed to me. Yes, the fabric feels and looks good, but it's still a very bad experience for me. I'm curious how he holds up. Update: The material seems soft and I received a partial replacement although I haven't washed it yet. I only received the duvet cover (no pillowcases) and it was packed in an undersized postal envelope with no protection whatsoever. The case wasn't wrapped in plastic or anything to protect it, nor was it postal bubble wrap, and it was compressed too tightly. The mailbox broke on the way. There was also a mysterious black thread that I first thought was hair but luckily turned out to be thread. I don't know why there was a black thread. I didn't even check the firmware because it doesn't make sense to me. Customer service was ok although felt like I had to push the replacement a bit so not a great experience. First Review: Received it today, took it out of the box and it's shocking how many loose threads there are and whole areas of loose stitching. I contacted the seller and the first response I got was not promising as they indicated it was normal and if there were any cracks or holes there was a 90 day guarantee. If it's brand new condition I don't like to rely on a 90 day guarantee. I have sent these photos with different sections and am waiting for a reply. I hope this is a defective product and not the norm otherwise I will return to Revain. I'm currently ordering a few other brands to compare. So far it's 0/5 and I will not recommend this brand or product. And the worst thing is that I didn't even take a picture of all the protruding threads.
