The photo of the squirrel was amazingly clear and was captured at 12MP. Pay attention to the size of the card used: for example, a 12 megapixel card is still 2.1 megabytes. The device is compact and attaches to a tree with the included nylon strap and buckle. Very large trees will require a longer 60 inch nylon strap. Be careful when inserting the SD card, it goes in one direction. A small radiation pattern is engraved next to the slot. The overall quality matches the price.
