I actually used this to cover a table top and it was the perfect way to add some pretty detail to the project. These are self-adhesive wallpapers so putting them on the table was a breeze. I didn't need any tools because everything went perfectly and my hand just smoothed it out. I was concerned that the texture of the upper would deteriorate because I'm working at the table, but the material is a good, durable quality that will hold up very well. I still have a lot of this material left, so I plan to use it in future projects as well. I know it's a bit odd that I don't plan on using it for my walls, but I didn't want to waste such a beautiful material on a rented space. I think this would look great as a backdrop on my shelves and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to add an interesting detail to a wall or other project, especially when placed next to a light that can bounce off the material and show it off texture . . Great product in my opinion.
