These are really good gloves and my 10 year old son loves them. I find that they fit a child's hand very well and I have a feeling that honestly he could easily wear them for another year or two but the only problem is that he wears them in the snow when they do get wet so they are not meant for snow in my opinion. They have handles and everything and they seem to be very well made and they look very nice but I wouldn't say they are waterproof. Otherwise, let your child's hands warm up.
