Looks very high quality compared to the OEM water pump that I removed. The OEM pump didn't fail, but I replaced it as a precautionary measure due to the known weakness of BMW cooling system components. This pump is designed for very heavy loads. I doubt it will ever fail, so I went with this particular pump.
