Great headphones in this price range.

So today we're going to take a look at the Logitech G435 Lightspeed Wireless headphones. How Do They Match $80 Headphones? Read on to find out! The headphones are based on Logitech Lightspeed wireless technology, which I've used in the past and loved. We encounter terrible Bluetooth and Wi-Fi interference in our house from time to time, and since switching to a Lightspeed mouse I've had absolutely no connection issues. My experience with these headphones is the same - a solid connection via both dongle and bluetooth. Speaking of Bluetooth, that's a feature I really liked! They're the only headphones I can easily swap between my computer and phone, and with an amazing 18-hour battery life, I use them quite a bit. The connection was stable and I had no problems to report. The headphones are *very* light and quite comfortable. Inexplicably, the headband is made out of a nice stretchy material, but it's stretched between two VERY hard plastic straps that you can definitely feel. The good news is that the headphones are generally so light that you don't usually notice the headband's imperfections. The controls are easy to find by touch, which is very nice. Some headphones take a bit of fiddling to find the button I like, but they're placed fairly intuitively and make a nice click when pressed, letting you know how you pressed. There is a small level of isolation, which is just about enough for me. keep taking them off to hear if my wife is calling me. haha sound quality is. Well, to be honest, it's just "not bad". They tend to be bass heavy. Some reviews said they were pretty neutral, but coming from some *very* neutral Shure or Sennheiser studio headphones, they're definitely not neutral to my ears. The bass is quite strong and unfortunately seems to drown out the high frequencies. Some female vocals and stringed instruments get muddy due to bass hits. But honestly I don't expect much for this price range. They're fine for gaming, and the hit in this case is quite comfortable. Atmos works on iPhone and it's amazing. Unfortunately, this is where the bass side of things really comes into play. Higher frequencies help our brain determine direction. Because of this, you can put a subwoofer anywhere in the room that will sound good, and your brain won't isolate that "all the bass is coming from my left". So when the bass gets stronger in these headphones and starts to overwhelm the high frequencies, the spatial effect diminishes and loses some of its flavor. It's certainly more pronounced on some songs than others, but ultimately these headphones sound best with Atmos turned off. Microphone. is working. Logitech claims they form a beam and I have no reason to believe they don't, but I can tell you with absolute certainty that using the mic will make you sound like you're using a speakerphone. Reports show that this is clear and understandable, but definitely sounds like a speakerphone. All in all, take a look, I think these headphones are great for their price. At this price point, you're not expecting ultra-high fidelity, but you're expecting (and getting) a good experience, too. These aren't my favorite wireless earbuds, but considering they can easily move between your PC and your phone, they probably deserve a spot on your shelf. Thank you for reading!
