Review on 🧗 La Sportiva Genius Climbing Shoe – Unisex by Jacob Schmidt

This was (keyword "was") the best shoe I've ever owned. I do a combination of rope and bouldering (all indoors) about 5 hours a week. When my toes started slipping off last week I noticed that after only 3 months the toes are wearing out and I can see the yellowing just under the big toes where the outer rubber is wearing out. I couldn't believe it. I'm not a crazy aggressive climber and in 8 years of climbing I've never had a pair of shoes wear out (yes there are other issues but I've never had that kind of rubber wear out). Considering their cost and the fact that shoes are relatively new, suffice it to say I am extremely disappointed with the build quality of these shoes. Personally I wish I had read a similar review to indicate that I avoid buying these shoes - they were too expensive to burn out so quickly.
