2 parts failed within a few days of receiving the product. The camera mount screw came loose from the idler gear (not repairable - had to be replaced entirely with a spare mount) then the rear shoulder (or upper) arm pull rod broke in half rendering it unusable. The part is made of this air-injected plastic, and neither Gorilla Glue nor Super Glue can seal the crack. I'm fortunate to have found another DIYer at the local Home Depot helpdesk who is a modeler and has previously had problems with gluing plastic. He recommended LOCTITE glue and it sealed the gap perfectly. This item has a good design concept and would probably be a better choice for the budget conscious videographer if ePhoto got an engineer or two to build these parts all metal.
