Review on Jcerki Business Bifocals Reading Eyeglasses by Randy Olson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not very good, maybe I got a bad pair?

Maybe I just got a bad pair? I had these 4 days but I have 2 main problems: 1) The lower correction part of the lens (1.75 in my case), the lenses rise too high. Looking through the top of the (presumably uncorrected) glasses I see too much of a 1.75 bifocal lens. There is no smooth transition from the uncorrected peak to the 1.75 of the lens. It's too distracting. I understand these are not progressive lenses. But when I look straight ahead I see too much downward correction. If the 1.75 part of the lens started just 1/8 inch lower it would be a lot better. Tried adjusting the nose piece to raise and lower the goggles, didn't help. 2) Possibly the worst. The top part of the glasses should be "uncorrected" and transparent. Mine aren't. There is a blur at the top of the lens, as if there's some sort of correction that I clearly don't want or need. It's very minor, but it's enough to be overly uncomfortable and annoying. It's a shame, otherwise I really like these glasses. Again, maybe I got a bad pair. When I opened the packaging they looked used (weird packaging and one of the hangers was bent). Unfortunately I can't recommend it.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
