God I can't believe I didn't see that. I have a 12.5" laptop with a crappy graphics card and everyone was telling me to throw it out because I couldn't use it on my 23" monitor and get a good resolution for it. I bought the laptop from Lenovo just a year ago and it has great specs in everything else including the i7 core. I bought a laptop just as a backup in case I need to leave the office. in a hurry I would have my business with me. But now I have decided to use my laptop fully in the office and be fully mobile but wanted to use my 23" sound monitor when I was in the office and everything was so distorted when I connected the laptop to the monitor I found this USB 3.0 to HDMI 1080p 1-Port External Graphics Hub from StarTech.com! It really works. I work with graphics and it was important to get the resolution and colors right. I love this product highly recommend.I can also connect my pc and laptop at the same time and press a button on the monitor to switch back and forth between pc and laptop.LOVE LOVE LOVE this product!
