I loved this case but was disappointed. The back and sides have deep texture, but that doesn't help with grip. Due to the texture I don't think the pop socket will stay attached, which I understand, but I sacrificed that for a good grip body, which isn't the case. It all looks slippery, just like without it. Although it can offer impact protection due to the slippery grip, I have a feeling the protection will be tested soon. Another star for the smart camera coverage. All in all, not a very good case. Will return.
