Review on Renthal G148 Gray Full Diamond Medium Compound Sportbike Grip for Enhanced Performance and Control by Ronald Howlett

Great thin grips for motorcycles and weight training

Not for those who like thick and thick grips. For those who like a subtle grip with great feel and stickiness these are some of the best and very popular with riders. Please note that there are three versions with different hardness. Light gray is the softest and stickiest, gray is medium soft, and black is the hardest, with a hardness similar to most OEM grips. Also, the harder the clutch, the longer it will last, but will dampen vibration the least. I seem to be getting pretty good mileage from the meds, probably about half that of most original pens, but about as much as any other thin aftermarket pens. I find that installing with Contact Cleaner works very well. CC lets them slide easily over the bar, but softens the rubber just enough that it will stick to the bar as it dries, which doesn't take long. Better than glue or soapy water etc.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • old
