After 6 months of use (<5 hours per week) the controller is not holding a charge at all. I noticed that from the 3rd month the controller needs to be charged more often. Even when I put the PS4 to sleep and left the controller plugged in, I was never able to get full battery life. The situation gradually worsened until I could no longer use it without a network connection. Battery life aside, the controller seems to do a good job for my gaming needs. Not worth the money when it has to be changed every 6 months.
