The brace fits perfectly. It can be adjusted with two side straps that wrap around the shoulders and forearms and wrap around the back. This allows for a tighter or looser fit. The tighter it is, the more it corrects posture. In the free state he can still adopt the correct posture, but not as much. The back of the orthosis has stiff bars almost on the inside that make it difficult to tip over. As such, it can be difficult to wear for tasks such as certain jobs or childcare, otherwise I highly recommend it. For reference, I'm 5ft 8in, 155lbs and bought a medium. Also, I have scoliosis with a 13 degree bend so it relieves back and neck pain and a rotating shoulder due to scoliosis.
