Works well - it doesn't help the problem of accessing the 'home button' on my iPhone 8, but I don't understand how to solve this problem without using the iPhone in other ways way to connect with the controller. (e.g. using the connector on the bottom of the controller and a separate phone holder). It does what's expected of it - helping shade the phone screen in sunlight and making it more visible by cutting or eliminating glare from direct sunlight (or even indirect sunlight on a clear day). I think it would be ideal if I had an iPhone. X or newer Samsung or any other phone with a better home button (or no home button at all). Well made product! The hood's surface feels like leather (I know it doesn't) and the rubber tips are nice and thick and of good quality. I guess that's as good as it gets given the problem with how iPhones (most of them) have their home button partially covered by the controller arms that hold the phones in place.
