When you step on it It's definitely when you would step on very thin layers of super slippery materials that would instantly slide off each other. You are more likely to lose your balance and fall if you step on it or twist your back trying to escape. I would like to send them back immediately. They should be used as the top layer for very thick, high quality orthopedic beds. Dogs love to burrow into their beds before curling up and are (probably) easier to clean and fix than plain beds. How was it. They were kind of swollen and unsteady to walk on, so the dogs avoided them entirely and the beds were used as underbeds instead, just to add softness to other lower quality bed layers. I really can't attest to the softness and durability and ease of cleaning. I just didn't get what I thought I got and really didn't like spending so much time looking for a deal and then being very disappointed when they got here.
