I bought these with the intention of putting them in my windows as Christmas decorations. On the plus side, they look good in person (the wax finish is much better than bare plastic) and the shimmer effect is nice. All the ones I've tried have worked (I've put 9 in total) and the remote works for all of them (but make sure you enable them separately if you don't want the flickering to be in sync). However, I am not entirely satisfied. The light is not bright enough to be seen clearly (it "glows" more than it actually shines) and is a distinctly cold hue that doesn't look like a candle (it should be a much warmer/yellow color to have). I have no plans to return them but if you are looking for the right bright and colorful LED candle I would suggest looking elsewhere.
