Works and is built to last

I bought the exact same Clio from Target on a whim over a decade ago and hung it in a trash can in the shower. It has endured a lot of exercise and droppings, moisture, splashing water and frequent use before finally falling into disrepair this year. And I remember only changing the battery a couple of times. I've tried other rechargeable bikini shavers and batteries that didn't work well, broke easily, or didn't hold a charge. And each time I thought to myself that while they were a lot prettier with more additions, they didn't work as well as the little Clio. So I bought another one. I know everyone is different with different hair and shaving needs. I have dark, thick, coarse hair and pale, extremely sensitive skin. And sometimes I shave certain areas a little carelessly and end up with a lot of stuff happening there. I am speaking at the primate hair level. I like to use the bar head trimmer to trim anything quickly and efficiently to get my hair short enough to use foil or a regular razor. Most of the time I can keep things clean and trimmed with Clio because my sensitive skin doesn't take regular razors or even waxing. I am extremely prone to ingrown hairs, razor burn, and irritation from products or even friction from my clothes no matter how careful I am and what products I use. I will say that the trimmer does all the work for you and a light touch works best. If I press the trimmer too hard against my skin and work too fast without being careful and using the guard, I usually cut myself. But a light touch and care when moving around corners helps. Foil also doesn't work on long hair. You should use a trimmer to shorten your hair enough to use foil without the painful and ineffective pulling of long hair. But this little guy works well for my daily needs of feeling clean and tidy without tearing my skin. I still sometimes resort to a razor when I want a really close, close shave, but I always use the Clio first to trim everything, which makes shaving with a razor much easier and quicker overall. . So depending on your shaving needs, this could work well for you as part of your shaving routine.
