When I decided to order a new office chair I spent weeks looking for the right one. I wanted a task chair that would last, something comfortable, adjustable, and heck, I didn't want BLACK. After weeks of searching and reading reviews, I keep coming back to this SPACE seating chair. . I just liked the light color and most reviews seem to be favorable. I was not disappointed. I think this chair is stylish, comfortable and usable. Some of the concerns in the reviews are concerns I shared when I first started using this chair. The seat is slightly tilted forward and the fabric is smooth. When I'm wearing a pair of sleek pants, the combination of the slight incline and smooth fabric seat on a wheelchair on hard ground creates the perfect opportunity for a giant ow! More than once I tried to sit up in my slacks, but felt the seat of the chair slip out from under me as the chair rolled away. I quickly learned to hold onto a chair while sitting, at least if the chair was on a hard floor and I was wearing smooth pants. The seat of the chair is very large, wide and long. Several people have found that the back of the chair is too far from the front of the chair, preventing them from sitting fully in the chair and bending their knees 90 degrees. I rarely sit in such a perfect posture, so I don't see that as a problem. Some people have commented that the chair's armrests have some "flexibility" and feel like they're hollow and can break easily. This is one of the reasons I waited over a year to write my review - I wanted to see how my hands would hold up. Little did I know when I ordered the chair that I was about to have ankle surgery. Often, while standing, I would lean heavily on the armrests of the chair, and the armrests would not give, crack, bend. They held up great while I was struggling with a leg in a cast. I assembled the chair myself in about half an hour. It was easy to make and all the parts were included in the package. I have been very fortunate to work for a company that has been able to adapt to Covid-19 by allowing their employees to work remotely so my chair has been in constant use for the past five months. It is perfectly preserved. The seat cushion is still soft, the fabric is still clean, and it continues to emanate that bright, vibrant color that I love so much. Everything about the chair is in good condition and I'm so glad I bought it.
