The head hole is too small

I bought this hat to wear to my wedding tea party. The hat isn't bad, but it looks more like what I would wear with a Halloween costume than a fancier event. But the worst thing is that the hole for the head is too small. I have a small head, about the size of my four year old grandson (who has a big head at his age) and I can't get him to stay.
