This Thinkpad Dock was designed for the IBM Thinkpad T60 and works very well - it's a great port replicator aside from being a full size extended dock with only 1 USB port Connection and expansion bays. The design is also much more attractive than the T-43 Port Replicator. There is an "undock" system, but I usually just pull the Thinkpad out with no ill effects on the dock or my laptop. (The eject process is annoying because sometimes my external hard drive doesn't stop immediately). My own desires for this product: 1) It included FireWire ports, and 2) It was cheaper. Like all proprietary products, it sells for way more than it's worth. One last note, the docking station has the following ports and has 4 USB 2.0 DVIVGAEthernet Phone jack PS2 Serial port Microphone (audio in) Headphones (audio out) S/PDIF Power adapter Lock and a few other things that I don't use since I'm not even looking only there. Full specifications are available on the company's website.
