I appreciate all feedback, both positive and negative. The two issues I read about were that the cord is too short and the tubing that goes to the drip is also short. I am changing the oil in a Yanmar 2GM20F 2 cylinder diesel so the hose is fine. After reading the reviews I realized I would have to lengthen the power cord. Considering the distance to the battery is 12 feet, I knew that would be the case with every pump I bought. Remember that the oil MUST be warm before attempting to pump it out. It is very important. The pump is great for the price. nothing in life is free. Buying it is like buying a miter saw at a cargo port. The pros will never buy it, but for me, who will use the pump once a year, it's perfect.
