What you see is more than what you get

I just wanted to keep a simple display and cabinet as a versatile music player in the kitchen. It looked like a good choice. I have found that the reality differs significantly from the image and description of the product, and not for the better. With some tweaking I could get it working, but I'd still end up with Frankenpi with wires sticking out and internal parts exposed. I need something more organized. The only thing that helps here is to put the suitcase in another suitcase, to edit/assemble something, or to throw the suitcase away and look for something else. I'm sending it back - it cost me $7.50 to return it. Know what you're getting yourself into. I could have avoided this poor match if the product page had been more open. Too many "moments of truth" with that. Pros: - Easy to understand and assemble; easy to set up - Attractive small display - Good picture quality Cons: - No case assembly instructions but easy to learn and understand - Resolution selection wasn't as advertised; I could only get two, 1280x720 and one size larger; Desktop RPI has been resized; Therefore the GUI is too small even for a pen and I would need a magnifying glass to read anything. The DVI and USB cables are short but still hang to the side; ugly, and they cling to things - rpi is exposed in the back; and the mounting screws did not go through the holes
