The first product received had 2 tiny leaks at the bottom as if the bottom plate wasn't glued to the tank wall during production. Got a replacement quickly and everything seems fine. On the downside, it's awkward to use, but that's probably typical of all handheld devices versus countertop bins. Countertops also have their own issues with the need to constantly plug in the cord. The main reason for the bad rating was the quality. Edited August 21, 2021 The water tank retained its integrity, but there was another design issue. The sealing between the water tank and the main body is so poor that it will leak when the instrument is held horizontally for testing and when used when water reaches the oval joint. It continues to drip from the connection area after each use. In my opinion, this is really bad design and/or workmanship.
