I have a list of 'needs' when buying a watch and she checks everything: sapphire crystal dial, second hand and date display. It's pretty and feminine, but not too flashy. I have both gold and silver rings so I love that they go with both. It seems quite water resistant (I take it in the shower. I wish the face was a little prettier. Maybe due to the solar technology it looks dull and dull, but it looks like the texture of printer paper. Also, the second hand is wrong perfectly aligned with the numerals on the dial Finally, I've never received gold polished stainless steel before, so I'm nervous that the gold part around the dial won't look too sharp in a few months I don't notice any scratches or weakening of the gold color, but that bothers me Worries. Overall a good watch. As another said, the dial is smaller than expected but I think it matches the proportions of the strap (and looks nice on my wrist).
