Very warm. Sometimes it's even too warm. I picked them up after using Rothco sniper gloves for many years. They were perfect for chilly weather but you would keep your hands in your pockets when it's cold when it's really cold. I have never had such an experience with them. There are some quips when it gets a little warm and I end up taking them off (they might be a bit itchy even if it's too warm for them). Sew the finger pocket entirely from one finger. I'm sure the bag will come off completely in a year or two. Velcro can also stick to the top of the glove if you're not careful where you put it (because the fabric is wool). Maybe a button or a magnet would be better?
