So my friend was talking about water at her house and felt weird. Deposits around the showerhead and sink indicate "hard water" build-up. I decided to test a few options because we've heard that these filters cause a large pressure drop. I left this for last as it was the most expensive option. I won't say how bad the cheap $15-$25 options were, but I will say that this homemade water group shower surprised me. It was an easy install with great instructions (very detailed). Very high quality and well made! It even came with everything I needed from a wrench to Teflon! The water pressure is good. It's not a rain shower, but more of a spa-style spray, as if you wash your hair every time you go to the hairdresser or spa. Either way, this is a great spray and print. Now with vitamin E&C and filter. I really wasn't expecting much. I assumed it was a vitamin sales tactic and the filter was standard. I was wrong. the water is noticeably softer and my skin has become less ashy lately. It even looks softer. I was so happy with the find I got my girlfriend to take a shower and try it out, now I've installed it in her house too (as she had hard water issues initially and I decided to keep mine) . She just said it was a "paradise" compared to what it used to be. All good impressions so far.
