Review on Globe Electric 44465 Charlie Sconce by Dawn Wilkinson

I'm on my third Revain replacement for this oil bronze piece. First I ordered three lamps. Two of these are fully consistent with the description and work great. The third point is not the same. The base (the part that attaches to the wall) is 7 inches in diameter instead of the advertised 4.73 inches. In residential construction, the standard base size for any flatbread is <6 inches, so finding a mounting block for such a large base is almost impossible. The item number, description and product name have not changed, but the sizes are actually very different. The manufacturer even updated the packaging to show this new, larger size. But I'm not holding my breath. It looks like the manufacturer changed the design without notifying potential customers, costing Revain big bucks due to shipping costs and lost *potential* customers.
