Well I don't usually leave bad reviews but the last hour has been incredibly disappointing for me with these shelves. Well - they are nice and rustic, the price is acceptable. I had no problems with the middle shelf. However, I had such trouble with the largest shelf when trying to align it properly. I used a spirit level and although it says it's level when I make the marks when I install the shelf. In fact, it's not the same. Because of this I did two extra holes and just assumed I was doing something wrong or the level was off or something. However, I decided to turn the shelf over and look at the hinges and lo and behold. One of them is a good half inch lower than the other which is the source of my problem. It's not easy at first to know exactly where the holes for these types of hinges/screw holders are, but their misplacement makes it incredibly difficult to line them up. Also, the screws holding the hinges were sticking out a little sideways, causing the paint on the wall to wear off. I may have just received a bad set without much quality control but keep that in mind when buying them to avoid a few extra holes in the wall.
