We keep our living room blankets in it. When I open it, a strong smell comes out, like urine. I then put an odor eliminator in it for a few days hoping it would help get rid of it. it still is! I took it apart and put my nose to the lid, that's where most of the smell is coming from. The manufacturer must have used some disgusting or cheap raw material to create this product. I even suspect they use things collected at a landfill where they dump garbage to reduce costs. The smell is so TERRIBLE! and it's outrageous to realize I paid $25 for this junk! Had I used it for storage beforehand and found out about the SMELL I would definitely return it! As one customer stated in their review: Contains flame retardant chemicals (known carcinogens) not listed in the product description but appear on the packaging. Terrible strong smell.
