***UPDATE TO ADD*** Now TWO out of THREE of these stools are broken throwing pivot bearings everywhere. We are a retired couple and they had them for 5 weeks. The stools arrived quickly and in good condition for delivery. When assembling, it was a bit difficult to get a good, even fit between the top of the legs and the base that holds the pivots (for the record, my husband works as a manager at a hardware store). They seemed solid, made of quality, heavy materials. I'm only giving 3 stars because within a few days of receipt and assembly we accidentally knocked over one of the three (they are quite heavy) and when it hit the ground the swivel mechanism ball bearings flew all over the floor. Obviously they didn't all come out because it's still spinning, but I have a feeling it should be tighter than it was.
