I bought this laptop after trying to get along with my old HP for online nursing school this semester. I gave up on it when it started hanging around in the middle of important exams. I finally gave up and bought this Lenovo about a month ago. So far this laptop has been great! It runs smoothly, loads quickly and has all the features you need for online learning. I appreciate its lightness and so far in all my video conferencing and nursing simulations it has performed significantly better than my legacy HP. I read many reviews before deciding to buy this laptop as this is the first Lenovo I own. , and many reviews complained about screen brightness and fan noise. I haven't noticed either. The screen brightness isn't as bright as some laptop screens, but unless you plan on doing a lot of outdoor work or in very bright environments, I don't see this as a problem. As for the fan, I've only noticed it a couple of times and it's no louder than other fans in my opinion. Lenovo also has different settings for how much "cooling" the fan should do. So if you play around with these settings, you can probably find one that suits your needs. Overall I only gave this laptop 4 stars as I haven't had it for a long time. Other than that, this is a great little laptop for online learning!
