I have had a love-hate relationship with reading glasses for many years. They never seem to end up where I need them. I've tried different types of cords or chains but they either irritate my ears or me by falling apart or getting in the way. I tried several other types of corrugated metal magnets but they fell off too easily due to inferior quality magnets. Enter this simple little device. Unlike others, this magnet is strong enough to stick through a thick sweater and keeps my glasses secure and wobble-free. If you're wearing a thin shirt, it can sag a bit due to the weight, but I've found you can work around this by repositioning. I haven't lost my glasses yet. I believe this is partly due to the magnet's attraction to the metal hinges in the temple. Those who aren't strong or have arthritis shouldn't have a problem with this, so don't worry (unlike some neodymium button magnets I have that require superhuman strength to move). If like me you want to cut the cord on your glasses, give this little device a try!
