The wallet is fine and lasts for several months. The only functional issue is that there is no quick access pocket on the outside for temporarily storing maps. For example, when I go to Costco to get my membership card, I have to open my wallet, pull the card out of the narrow inner slot, show it to the staff, and put the card back in the slot and close the wallet back through the entrance. Another thing is standing in front of the cash register. If I could put the card in an outside pocket it would be easier than putting the card in my clothes pocket which I have to look for in the office a few minutes later. checkout queue. Seems like a small thing, but I think about it every time I go to Costco. A similar scenario is my transport card being pulled out, used for a split second, and reinserted. I seem to be working too hard to use the map. My solution is 2 wallets. The second is meager, I only have a few emergency dollars and a transit card. Since it's not an RFID wallet, I can take the wallet to a transit POS terminal and it will read the card without taking out the transit card. I keep my Alpine Swiss wallet safe in my pocket among dozens of passers-by. Although I've never been robbed, I think I can give the burglar a second wallet if they wish, and thus protect the Alpine Swiss wallet. Probably an unlikely scenario and it won't work in real life, but it looks like insurance. Otherwise my wallet is fine. I really like the zipper so nothing falls out. I wish it was thin but I prefer to store a lot of cards and there are plenty of slots for that.
