Excellent glass food storage line. I have many of these pyrex glass storage jars of all sizes and love them. Why? Glass is cleaner and safer than plastic. It's made from tempered Pyrex glass, which means you can use it in the microwave and bake. In addition, it is much more shatterproof than ordinary glass. The plastic lids of this line close the glass containers tightly and watertight. (Note that lids should NOT be heated in the microwave). Elegant, simple glass containers are attractive enough to be placed on the table. You can place the glass containers directly in the oven, for example when preparing a hot casserole. If there is still a dip left over after the aperitif, simply close the container with a red lid and put everything directly in the fridge. These containers are easy to stack in the fridge. You can see through the glass and see the contents much more easily than with plastic containers. While the rectangular pyrex glass storage system is good too, I prefer these round jars because they look better on the table. Hope this helps you to solve.
