I've been wearing shorts since I was 12. They are amazing! Great material, dries quickly and is very comfortable. The colors and patterns are really beautiful. I also bought the blue ones and they are really cute. I bought a size up first because the reviews said they grow as well as a longer pair of styles and the longer we go the better. I'm 5'2 and 185+ and this p16 size is perfect. I don't have junk in my trunk and I'm pacing like a boy. I have a belly, a big belly. I hope this helps with the size. * I have to say this because I think some people just don't understand what board shorts are. Ties are NOT useful, have never been on board shorts I've had and have lived in them for years. . The velcro (if burgundy shorts have it) takes some time to soften. Not everyone has an elastic waist when you need an elastic look for an elastic band. or who knows perhaps his own vanity. I had to carry boys and men for a very long time. So it's rare to find a company that actually makes them and gets them right. I know maybe 3 including this one. The return shipping fee sucks and is amazing in today's world of online shopping and instead of exchanging the last order I sent it back so I lost my shipping refund. I would suggest exchanging if you have any sizing issues instead of returning if you have time to look into it, save $4. Will definitely buy again, these are really great shorts!
