Review on 🌈 16.4ft RGB LED Strip Lights with Remote Controller and Strong Adhesive Tape – Color Changing Tape Light with Fixing Clips for Bedroom, Room, Kitchen, Bar by Ralph Foster

I bought these LED strips because you can use them for a variety of purposes. Originally I wanted to place them behind a monitor or TV so they create a cool effect where the glow bounces off the wall. However, one of my computers didn't have LED lighting, so I decided to try it temporarily in a computer case. I will definitely be attaching this strip to my monitor or TV in the near future. Anyway, I tried attaching the strip to the motherboard (both RGB and addressable RGB pins) but it didn't work directly on the motherboard. (Gigabyte Aorus Elite X570). It seemed like it might work because the pins and connector were wired together, but now I'm assuming that's not how these LEDs work (maybe the power supply is different?). I won't shoot stars though as nowhere in the description does it say it can be used that way. I simply pushed part of the strip through the side panel and connected it to the remote receiver and power supply. The remote works perfectly and you can switch between colors and effects as advertised. So far I really like these LED strips. I will do further tests on them for different applications. I will also pay attention to strength and durability. If I come across any unreasonable concerns I will definitely update my review. TL; DR - Pretty good set of LED strips that can be used for multiple/different applications. It doesn't seem to work when plugged into the motherboard, but the description doesn't say anywhere that it can be used that way. Otherwise it works as advertised so far.
