Suitable for deep mattress

We had trouble keeping the fitted sheets on the bed when mattress pads were also installed (there were sides on them, like sheets). This is the only mattress topper I've found with elastic straps. This works great and we no longer have to pull the fitted sheet over the mattress. However, it's fairly thin with very little padding. The bottom is waterproof so I'm not sure it's worth washing and drying. The time will show. In general, the purchase is satisfied.
